This comparison comes down to a single question about you rather than about either service: do you read and listen, or do you only listen? Everand is built for the first person and Audible for the second, and almost everybody knows which they are.
What Everand's own page says
Read on the date stamped above, Everand's page offers “Read free for 30 days” followed by three paid plans: Standard at $11.99 a month with 1 unlock, Plus at $16.99 with 3 unlocks and Deluxe at $28.99 with 5 unlocks. It describes unlimited access to “20k+ audiobooks, ebooks, and podcasts” and a wider pool of “1.5M+ books” reachable through the unlock system.
The structure worth noticing there is that it is not a flat all-you-can-read service. There is a small always-available pool and a much larger one you reach a few titles at a time. That is closer to Audible's shape than it first appears.
What Audible's own page says
Audible lists Standard at $8.99 and Premium Plus at $14.95, with a 30 days free trial for new members. The credit buys any title in the store, and Audible states that “all titles purchased with a credit are yours to keep forever”.

Who each one is for
Everand suits a mixed reader. If your month contains two novels read and one listened to, paying two subscriptions for that is straightforwardly worse than paying one. Audible suits a listener who wants to own things. The permanence is not a marketing detail; it is the reason a credit is worth what a book costs rather than what a month costs.
